Well I installed the amp which took me all day due to all of the running around I did to get the system up to par. I AM NOT IMPRESSED YET !. I think I am going to need an eq/crossover to get this amp to act right. It seems to put out the power effortlessly at full volume, but when playing some smooth slow jams at lower volumes I lose a ton of bass. If I add bass via the head unit it sounds crappy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif WORD TO THE WISE DO NOT USE HOME ELECTRICAL WIRE for the short runs. Doing this killed me today and I will be purchasing some regular 4awg next weekend, probably along with a eq/crossover.
SURPRISE ! with the JBLGTQ400 pushing my mids to highs, I finally understand why people say the infinity 6822cf speakers pound. MAN ! this mourning I hook them up before installing the crunch amp and I almost decided not to add sub-bass. Yep thats how good they sound. I also added the other two CLARION subs which may be the problem with the way they sound. Well the chronicals continue, I was hoping to be finished with this minor system upgrade by now, but as we all know Murphy's Law **** blocks all the time.
