1500 - 2000w for tight clean sound

Well if you have good subs and a crappy amp, it's not going to sound nearly as good as if it would if it were matched w/ a better amp. ? Correct? I'm not sure. I just want to know which amp would give me the best out of the Type R's

all amps don't sound the same, the only difference iv'e ever noticed was a buddy of mine had four sony amps and switched to one AB100.1 the bass was tighter, and a hell of alot louder

As long as you get a decent amp you will not have to worry about it.

But it's all in the settings. If you set any amp correctly, it's going to sound perfect. No amp is going to sound sloppy or tight. As amps don't produce sound. It's the speakers and installations job to do that.

Ok, whats a decent amp thats under 400 and under 300. I see all these amps listed but I do not know what's good. Also am I getting my head into something that is too much? Two Type-R's is that too much? I hear these cars and trucks that pass by and you can clearly hear their bass and it sounds very good, how much power are these guys putting out?
