$150 for components...ideas?

As for used...I'd rather not, but if it's a good set I might be able to look past that. I guess I should check out ebay, though searching is a ***** when you don't know what you want.

Contact a member on here with the username Tplaya07. He can get you OZ Audio for great prices. The Vectors from him are well within your price range, and frankly a very good option.

Yea, I've contacted him, but after looking at Oz's site, I see they have a new model. Am I mistaken, or didn't the old ones used to be able to handle 75w rms? The new ones can only do 50w.

How are the eD 6000s? Those are in my price range as well.

People underestimate the power of power //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Seriously, I only have 50w running to my current comps, and they can get louder than most people would ever need. I used to be a "throw huge power at your speakers" kinda guy.....but my recent experiences have really changed that. Big power isn't necessarily needed. Even the mids I was running before now would really throw down and sound awesome with only 50w on them.

So, don't rule them out because of a "low" power handling.
