15" Sx / Spl

I just bought a single 15 " RE SX and im looking for people's inputs on box size ( Dimensions) Im going ported, so that is a must. Any ideas are or links to other pages/threads that have already had this conversion are welcome to be posted.

bandpass tuned at 70hz

make sure the sealed cavity is no more than 3 cubes...and make the ported cavity somewhere around 5 cubes....with 150 square inch port 7inches long

u should be good 2 go

And if you are going for all out SPL...it's not as simple as tuning it to a frequency and getting good results...they take a lot of work to get right...

the reason i said bandpass becuz the ported cavity of a bandpass determines the efficiecy of the box...so the bigger the ported cavity the louder its going to be

Wow, thats alot of watts to throw at an SX even for SPL comps. Can an SX take a burp of 3800 watts or are you even burping it?
