15" SSA ZCon VS 15" Stereo Integrity Mag V3

Hey all,

I currently have a 15" Mag V3 powered by a MD1D (1200rms).

I have been experiencing the upgrade bug for a while now, And i just found out about the Zcon.

And i thought, i could probably throw that in the same box, (3.5 @ 28hz) and buy a AQ2200D and it will slam..

But will it be much louder than the mag do you guys think?

BTW, fired towards trunk in 98 monte carlo..

yes, it DEF will be louder... is that 3.5 ft3 after displacement? for the zcon, i would prolly go with atleast 4.5 ft3.... but 3.5 at 28 will still sound NICE

I mean it is for sure a huge upgrade. I don't see why you couldn't sell your equipment to help the cost.

yup! ... its not going to be just louder... its going to just sound better all around... once you get it, you wont regret it... they are an awesome sub

this i doubt it will sound all around better the mag v3 was one of the best sounding subs

Yes, but i am concerned with sq as well, i love how the mag can hit every note i throw at it, from the fasted double bass to the lowest notes... i wonder if the Zcon would provide that as well

I know what you mean,they do what they do and do it very well,I love my Mags but like you I want something that will play like a Mag but Be Louder....I`m looking into some Sundown Zs

well, are you looking for sq, sql, or spl?

let me rephrase what i was saying....

if your looking for pure sq... i would stick with the mag

if your looking for sql... the zcon will definately get you much louder, but you may have to give up a lil sq (even tho they are still a VERY GOOD sql sub, imo)

if your looking for spl... the zcon is a definate
