Iv been reading all of the post and gathering Info. I will be putting 2 15" L7 solo

and 1 Hifonics Brutus 2008 model amp, in the bed of my 2005 Dodge Ram with the hardtop toneau cover on. Will this be enough to push both woofers. or shall i get 2 seperate lower rated brutus amps.

here are the specs for the 2008 brutus.

• Hifonics Brutus 2008 model B:12607d

• 2,600 WATT Mono Block Class "D" Monster Subwoofer amplifier

• 2,600 x 1 RMS @ 1 ohm

• 1 ohm stable

• 1,700 watts @ 2 ohms

specs for the Solobaric 15L7

* RMS Power: 1000 Watts

* Peak Power Handling: 2000 Watts

* dual 2-ohm voice coils for wiring flexibility

Any helpful tips and suggestions will be much appreciated..

if your subs are 1000rms try to get a amp that will put out 2000rms at 1ohm so you can wire them down and get full use out of them

but for that amp it would sound good wired at 2ohm if you get d2s

make sure you have enough voltage and a subsonic filter for solo's. you will blow them up in no time without. distortion is the #1 enemy to solobarics. they are loud *** subs, but pretty finicky.
