My AQ1200D is rated at 1200 RMS at 1% THD, and 1475 at 5% THD... So I'm somewhere in the range of power for them. Can't buy a new amp lol. But ya I figured 4 cubes at 32, hopefully I'll be able to shake windows with theses.

They're loud, but don't get over excited and think you'll be going steve meade on the windows lol

No no, I'm not thinking that crazy, I'm not trying to annoy people, just be louder than my friends. Theres not that many people I know with systems, and I just wanna own them and all they're trash talk lol. My two cheap pioneers rattle the windows in my house off batt. and I'm not looking to get TOO much louder.

Not bad, not bad. The most i can do is make it shake a bit lol. Someone told me last night I should get two AQ SDC2.5 12"s versus the RE SEs. He said they would be louder, take up less space because of higher tuning, and get just as low while sounding good. Any other thoughts on this idea?

I cant speak on that, never tried them. The SEs are great though, I gave mine more power that u have though. Only differance there

I'm thinking about ordering subs tomorrow, any one else think the AQs would be a better choice? Or should I just go with the REs?

i think the SE series is the SQ sub... but the SX is a SPL sub... i have 1 SX 15" nand its pounds hard bros... though the MT and XXX can also use as an SQ sub and it depends on your prequency setting and tunings. as long you know how to tune it you can use it both in SQ and SPL...

the XXX is a SQL sub, great sound quality with the ability to get loud, however the MT is pure SPL... just ask meade lol

so ur just relying to meade's answer?? but personally you cant adjust the frequency tuning of HU, amp level gain for SQ? i've already audiotioned DD 9515 powered by solid audio f2500 competed in SQ and he bagged the chmapionship!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif

not trying to hijack the thread but will one 12'' SE powered by a hifonics txi1008d be ok? it will be getting 1000 watts at 1ohm. ported box at 2cu^ft tuned to 33hz.

lol read a page or two back. I think someone said the max they would put on one was around 800 -

just sum input i put my 15" sx in my sisters car off a viper 1200d 4 cu ft 33 hz and it was loud

i didnt take the time to brace the box and i think that affected the sq a little but its not a bad sounding sub because i also have a 12 in my truck.
