Sold 15" recone kits

^ The voice coil should fit any sub that uses a 3" coil. These were purchased for some 1200 watt Sound Related Technology subs, but it's a generic kit.

the coil's exact I.D. is 3.002" with a 4 layer wrap that is 1.8" wide on a 3" tall former...

sorry but I take that as saying it will fit any subwoofer that advertises a 3" coil. Maybe in Canadian language that means something different. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Listen guy... if you wanted to clear up any questions to be sure a potential buyer knew what he is getting; I have no problem with that... but you didn't ask anything... only stated that I was utterly wrong... I took that as a total post dump, pal.... and now we are on page two of this BS...

I'm sure you could have also guessed that wind height and wind width are the same thing... gimme a break //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

These coils came from Precision and guage/O.D. is implied based on ID/WW

Since you asked, I got out my caliper.. and the O.D. is 3.18"

Next time do me a favour ask the question prior to the post dump....

Calling me a Jag off isnt going to make me go away. You did offend me for calling me a dumbass and now I'm going to prove to you that I'm not and show any buyer who buys this thing that it may or may not work and its much more to it than droping it in. Your still leaving out one important factor on these recones. The winding width. your winding width as your calling it is how tall the actual widing is on the former right? That is something I and all the other people I order recones from calls winding height, as in how tall up the former it is.
How is somebody going to know if this will fit in the skinny gap of certain subwoofers. You don't even mention what gauge the wire in the coil is. is it 18gauge as it appears in the picture.

Bottom line is with the information you gave nobody on here can tell for sure if it will fit there motor or not. post up the OD of the coil and then they could.

actually thats wrong, wind height is 1.4" and wind width would be (OD-ID)/2 or the width of the coil+former, which is very helpful in trying to figure out if a coil will fit in the gap

/lesson.

GL with the sell, next time don't make vague, incorrect generalizations or call people who know more than you names.

How in the hell did you determine that ? The wind 'height' is 1.8"

I suppose everyone at the place where I get my parts does not know what they are talking about because they always seem to refer to wind 'height' as width and you know everything //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

STFU AND GTFO.... *** clown...

(as if anyone would have thought the coil winding was 1.8" thick //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif)
