what do you think about 2 12" kicker comp vr's run with a 1500d hifonics amp? what do you think about the kickers? any ideas for subs under $300?

do u mean each sub for 300 bucks or 300 in subs all together.

Kicker Comps are good subs. sound decent get decently loud nothing crazy tho. Theyr 350 or 400 rms i think. So using a 1500d would be pointless. Id look at Re se's. Or Ed K's. Both these subs are under 300 dollars. http://www.respl.com http://www.edesignaudio.com

I'd look into the Elemental K's then. The RE SE's are a little more expensive and probably put you over the $300 mark.

yo go with lightining audio or go with mermphis. The Ed are good subs too. But if u are going use 1500 watts then go and get a good *** speaker.

Lightning audio??? You'd be MUCH better off with Elemental Designs. Did you already buy that amp, or are you just trying to match stuff up? If so i'd say skip the bx1500d for right now unless your willing to spend more than $300 and get 2 RE SE's.

yah man the amp ur thinkin of getting is way to much power for the subs ur thinkin to get. Even the 2 Re SE's shouldnt be given that much power. Although they could take it fine. 2 10" Re Se's would be roughly 300, 2 12's roughly 350, and 2 15's would be roughly 400. There arent too many better daily driver subs for the money.

personaly i like clean sounding music, which is why i ordered an e12a.... my friend has to compvr 15s on the rockford fosgate 1500db amp(birth sheet is 1600w) and has them running on that and they hit pretty **** hard... they can diffently handle the power, the only downside is they dont sound good if u want them for anything other than rap...

If they are installed properly they will have good SQ. Is it up to par with a 12A.......no. But it is **** good for the price.

On a side note I have 2 15" VR's I am selling for 200 shipped if anyone is interested.

I loved the kickers. NIce clean sound for the price. They also get pretty **** loud. My only reason for getting rid of them is i need some trunk space again.

http://www.respl.com 2 10's are rougly 300 shipped. 2 12's are roughly 350 shippped and 2 15's are rougly 400 shipped. They are rated at 600 rms. They will handle the Hifonics bx1500d perfect. u buy them from that website. U call and order. they will give u prices.
