hey guy's right now i got a 15" rockford sub in a mid sized ported box and im going to get a 15" jbl gti for $900 and thay say with the same power i got right now to my 15" it should be louder and with a way bigger box it's rms is 800 and i just got over 700 and about 1500 watts peak and it can handle 5000 peak so i think it should pound like a mouther. you guy's think it will be louder and sound better??

as far as loudness i'm not sure.......i hooked up a truck a couple years ago with 8 jbl 15gti's and i plugged all 8 to a oulet and i had a ring in my ears 4 a while

oh yeah u need more than 800watts to get it moving

X2! I heard 1 that 15"gti get pretty loud last year in the lanes, dont know how many watts SHE had going to it but it was in a ported enclosure and hit mid 40's on the dash.

well when i did the escalade with 8 15gti's in a ported isobaric setup tuned at 25hz......we had 2 put 2 zapco 4kw's(12000watts total) on it and it still wanted more power.....the dude didnt have anymore money so he was stuck underpowering them..

so you guy's think it will be a good sub and yes i plan on getting way more power to it but first a new big alt and batt then ill get a big *** amp but i just want a sub that will sound nice and get fricking loud!!
