15" comps of 12" L7s

yeah i still think i ll go with the two l7s in the prefab box. i had one in a prefab so i cant imagine it wilsound bad with two

You should be able to get 2 12's or 1 15 in that space. The L7's are loud as fk but that prefab box dont quad. My neighbor had the exact same set-up you're looking at minus the kicker amp. I'd try something else but it's your money.

if you go with L7's atleast don't do a prefab box. Usually you can go to an audio shop and have a box custom built for 200 or so and it's well worth the money as opposed to spending 70-80 on a fart box

one thing about l-7's is they need the room to breathe to wake them up....... if you are going to choke them to smaller boxes, you are better off buying something else. when given a limited space requrement, 2 l7's are going to put out more than 3. honestly, 2 15's would do best given 12'^3, 2-12's @ 9'^3, 1-15@6'^3, etc...

@5.5cu by your measurements, you can do a single 15, or 2-12's....... the 2-12's may not be what they could, but they will be more linear in response..............and this is all assuming vented enclosures, built correctly, not prefab.
