140 Amp alt enough?

Hey guys, doing an install in my little brothers car (1998 Olds 88) Consists of a diamond d5300.2 and a diamond d51200.1. If I have calulated right then the 300.2 will be pulling about 25 amps and the 1200.1 will be pulling around 100amps(if wired to 1 ohm). His stock alt is 140 amps and I just want to see if you guys think well be ok to run his sub amp at 1 ohm or perhaps get a dvc4 ohm sub and knock the amps down a bit?

Im just not sure if well have enough left over for the car even taking into account that the amps dont draw all those amps under normal music conditions.

Let me know what you think thanks guys.

Also one last thing....would running the sub amp at 1 ohm versus 2 ohms create more thd or less? So in a sense would we be better off running it at full power if speaking in terms of SQ?
