13w6v2 in a Mustang?

Anyone know if a 13w6v2 will fit properly in a box that has a height limit of 14"? The JL site says the mounting hole diameter is 12.5", bolt circle diameter is 13.36", and total height of the sub is 14". Would there be any problem having to drill into the joint pieces of wood for the box, or should I play it safe and look for the 12w6v2's instead?
