130amp alt, 800CCA Battery, Stock Everything else. Enough?

i know with my setup i get very little dimming but my rpms drop when a real strong bass note hits....i can be at 1500 rpm and if i'm bumping hard and i can see my rpm drop to 1000...so with me when i play my music its not only electrical i have to worry about its the gass it drinks when my bass hits

80

40% of 1600 is 640, are you saying there is no real difference with this? Is it even true about the 40% thing or is it just something to do with the warranty??
power is nice but there isnt that huge of a difference unless your subs are inefficent and dont play at low volumes there would be 2 db at most in your situation it seems louder than that cause linearly it gets louder fast but overall wouldnt be night and day 4 x the power 6 db is big diff

I dont know about from a term lab stand point but I have heard a jump from 400w mono to a 800w mono, an it was a night an day difference. In general though does Hifonics really need that second battery to do stated??

to put in perspective of what a db is 1 db is the slightest increase in volume perfect hearing can detect... second battery like i said wouldnt hurt partcularly in a longevity standpoint of running the amp safely. there is a performance difference but double the power in audio is nothing like doubling horsepower in a car.

So should I get a big standard battery to run truck an amp? With reg. cab there is no space for two batterys..........

if you can fit something like a kinetik 2400 under the hood it should work pretty good as it would have more capacity than a regular battery. something with basic deep cycle capability. think of it in terms of running a race is it better to have a 5 gallon fuel tank or a 15 gallon

Which Kinetik would be efficient to Optima yellow top? How much did you pay??

need capacity over time it isnt just about cheap you spend $$$$$ on equipment dont power it up with junk
I have NEVER seen a Kinetik in ANY store I have been in (and that is alot of stores). Next best think to do is get either big standard battery or Optima. What you consider junk might be reasonable to me, I do not want to get in any shows or play music with engine off. Which Kinetik would be in same category with Optima yellow??

there are alot of shops in those areas that carry kinetik
