130A alternator enough for a 950w system?

Have you done the Big 3 yet? Do you still get voltage drops or dimmage with your system @ full tilt? We can't really give you an answer w/o more info...

i plan on upgrading the Big 3 this weekend, im about to buy some 1/0 wire for it. Right now, my system isnt in my car, i just did a major upgrade, so the stuff in my sig is sitting in my room. im just planning ahead.

the answer is it SHOULD work fine. The 3g alternator is a beast of a stock alt.

If you DO have electrical problems I would spend some time checking all the connections and grounds. Check for corrosion near the battery. Have the battery tested. There's no reason an alt that size should so much as flinch with a Kw system.
