12W7 or SI Mag 12

I don't know a ton about subs so I thought this would be a good place to start.

I was originally planning on picking up a single 12W7 but I was turned onto the SI Mag 12.

I was wondering what you guys think about both of these. I know there are a ton of factors to take into account when trying to compare subs, but any info would be helpful. Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif!

I am willing to bet the main vote will go to the MAG, I dont know what other info you need, if you would have searched there has been a lot of threads about the MAG lately, and there was even one comparing the mag to the w7 on SSA.

I don't think you will be disappointed with either, but my vote, and probably most on here, will be for the Mag. I haven't heard one personally, but I haven't found a negative review of them yet. Which is cheaper?

From what i've looked at so far, if I go with the Mag i'll be able to pick up a better Amp then if I go with the W7 which makes the Mag look even more attractive.

I'm starting from scratch with all of this, so i'm also looking for a HU and some component speakers.

This is the amp I was looking at, Cadence DCA1600

that is indeed a + for the mag. the VC configuration makes it much easier to match w/ and amp w/o wasting any potential out of the amp.

i think a Mag and a NINe.1 would be a mighty *** looking combo.
