12w3d4 vs. pioneer 12" IMPP 4oDVC

my friend has 2 12" pioneer impp subs with and old saint amp and turned down too, his subs push way lower than mine

please tell me its the amp and not the subs

note: i got it to hit low at 1 ohm mono, but i dont want to blow up my amp

well it depends on the box...the amount of power they are getting.....and the subs....but ijm thinking the w3's would hit harder given the right box and the right amount of power

Are they just the low end IMPP subs or are they upper end ones, because I have the pro series and they hit fairly hard...I am giving them just under 400 watts RMS and I am pleased....thier (pioneer's) lower end subs however should not hit harder than the JL's I don't think

yeah they're the regular grey ones.. i was reminded today about audiocontrol's epicenter...i could get one for about $180 is that a good price from a shop.

Ive got my two 12 W3D4's running off of a punch 500s, and the only thihgs I have heard around hear that hit harder either have a few more subs, or are w6's or w7's.....So I bet if you get a new amp to em, theyll pound....

well if had $$ and could go pick up another one, so im stuck with what i've got, (stupid ticket), that epicenter sounds nice tho.

All the epicenter does is shift music down to a lower octave, and iirc, it introduces distortion.
