deadening the doors will make the mid-bass and lower mid-range really come to life. thats all. if you want the most mid-bass possible this is the only way to do it.
RSD's + lots of power + deadened and sealed doors = heaven.
Well, the doors are small, its a 2 door, how much money will it take to buy sound deadening? can anyone send me the cheapest link for the right stuff? how long should it take? for a dummy
For kicks, make sure they have as much airspace as possible. Too little air to work with and the midbass get totally strangled. Q-forms flex like a ***** and cost you midbass.
Deadening won't stiffen them up. Stiffness is the problem there. That and too little airspace. The Stiffness is best handled with a few layers of fiberglass mat resined to the inside. The airspace issue...that's a whole different kettle of fish and one that it really difficult to solve.
