i need an amp that will produce 1200w @ 1 ohm. my price range is 350$. i am looking for a more musical amp, if that makes any sense, going for sq.

Hifonics BX1500d 450x1 @ 4 ohms 900x1 @ 2 ohms 1500x1 @ 1 ohm

JBL 1200.1 600x1 @ 4 ohms 1200x1 @ 2 ohms 1 ohm stable

Any of these 2 would be a great choice... The jbl produce a little more power than the hifonics but the hifonics its a very good amp also

Memphis 1000d gets my vote. There is a new one for sale in the classifieds. I guess it really depends on what you consiter SQ though. The Memphis runs at 1.5% THD @1ohm, but then again that is inaudiable.

Memphis 1000d gets my vote. There is a new one for sale in the classifieds. I guess it really depends on what you consiter SQ though. The Memphis runs at 1.5% THD @1ohm, but then again that is inaudiable.

from my experience the memphis is the best SQ, best effiency, and sexiest casing (being sleek and small) for a midget amp.....AMAZING SQ

Ive sold both of my tantrum 1200.1's already but I've seen great prices in the classifieds for tantrum 1200.1. you can probably find at least 1 thats about 280+shipping or somwehre around there. great little amps

x2 sounds better than any memphis 1000d ive heard, and I sell them. Memphis still makes good amps though. I prefer the xenon, and jbl crown amps over them though.
