1200 watt

Im not sure, can any one suggest a ported box size for 2 SE 15s? My price range is like 500 to 1k
i would try to get at least 6 cubes. 8 cubes being ideal. they recommend 4 cubes per woofer ported.

for the amplifier u can get pretty much anything. Check out Viper, Orion, Arc Audio, Us Amps, Memphis, etc....

just find something nice that puts out 1000-1300 watts at 1 ohm or 4 ohms.

badass thanks

I have been looking at the Eclipse DA7122 myself. There is someone over at sound domain says he bench tested it at somewhere around 1900 watts rms and over 3000 at peak. Personally I love them and you can get them on Ebay for around $500.00. I seem to be recommending this thing a lot lately, but when I saw the specs on this thing, and knowing what kind of product Eclipse makes, I can't help it. Since you have the money I would get it. Let me rephrase that, If I had the money that is the amp I would get. Remember though, this amp is stable to 2 ohms not 1.

the cheapest would be teh hifonics bx1500d which would probably give a lil over 1300 watts. ikesound.com has them for VERY cheap now i believe they are under 300 dollars.
Since u have the money though i would go with something beter like these.

the bx1500d will put out right at 1500 watts not 1300.....

He will be wiring at a total 2ohm load though. So the amp will push 1000watts rms, knowing a tahoe they have 14 volt electrical systems, the hifonics are rated at that so he should get full potential. With two dual 2ohm drivers, the best way to wire them is 2ohm total load, instead of 0.5ohm. So he will be getting 1000watts rms out of that amp, 500watt rms to each sub. That should be pretty sweet.
