12 volt permanent power supply help?

I have a 2006 frod expedition & I have a sirius "plug & play" unit I want to permanently mount in my car.

I'm tired of tying up the cig. lighter with powering the sirius as I want my phone charger there.

SO, How can I hard wire the sirius to a constant 12 volt supply w/o/ using the lighter? Can I use the fusebox? How? Other options?

IIRC, the hot wire should have white markes down the wire...

So, but off the cigarette adapter plug, put a fuse on the wire, and wire it somewhere behind the dash...

x2... this would be the easiest way...

Check your vehicle's owners manual.Usually there's at least 1 empty spot on most vehicles fuse boxes.

Or you could give it its own line from the battery.May actually be easier than trying to wire it to the fuse box, depending on your vehicle.
