12" TC-3000 + Box

I've been trying to run through a couple of different combinations for the TC-3000 that I'll be getting soon hopefully! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I can't decide whether to do ported or sealed, and have a couple of questions if I go sealed:

Sealed:

I heard in order to make a sealed box sound the best, you use the golden rectangle or the perfect rectangle to base it off of? Is this true? If not, should I use a certain equation or just whatever fits in the trunk or to certain specs?

Ported:

I was planning on using this ported design, which is one of moe lester's plans. Should i go bigger? It seems to match the specs from http://www.tcsounds.com. I was also going to double baffle it for extra security.
