Shop around and listen to some at a store. Audiobahns are great, but the best subs I've heard in an actual car are eclipses.

I would go with a rockford he2 12. They are really cheap on the net. I went to my lcal caudio dealer the other day and one of the employees there let me sit in his car and listen to his system. It pounded the shit out of his car. I would go with a rockford but you should also go around to the local stores and see what they have.
