okay finally got the sub of my dream!!! now what amp? hopefully under 250 shipped cheaper the better!! what i have found

Are you gonna put it in a sealed box or ported box? If you are only gonna run one sealed buy a JBL600.1 off sounddomain that is refurbished for $169 + shipping if you are gonna run ported buy that directed amp.

see that is my next problem i dont know if i want to try ported or to just stay with what i know(sealed)? main thing is what car i buy and howmuch room i have to play with.

i would look at the directed or maybe the rockford. either would be a good choice.

I would personally choose rockford as I have the power 1001bd and it is awesome. Underrated and reliable. What is the ohm config on that sub?

mmmm.. directed is my favorite outta the bunch. but ive had a RF amp, and it sounded quite nice.

but dont get abahn... amps arent too bad, but why give them money for being sucky.

get the directed, if you go sealed. 800 will bump it well, but 1100@1 will be better... if you go ported, 800 will bump it nice and hard (like my 10" SE is doing in my trunk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

okay i think once monday or tuesday if i get my 3k in insuance like i hope i will look into buying a directed amp if its really that good. thanks for the imput.
