12"s sealed v 10"s ported/sealed

I now run 2 12" subs (150 rms) pushed by 140 rms bridged amp. Recently I got a more powerful amp 300 rms bridged and am thinking of upgrading. The 12"s are in a sealed box. I would like a ported/sealed box combo. 10" sub would be ported. What does a 10" ported @300rms sound like compared to the 12" sealed @ 150rms?

their almost contradicting themselves. 10" inch subs are argued to have better sq but then ported is more for spl and sealed is sq but 12" are a mix of sq and spl....uhhh you'll hear the difference just because the wattage im thinking. the subs you will be running will make a big difference as well. a DC 12 @ 150rms will sound better then a Fusion 10 ported at 300rms for exsample.. SPL vs SQ is big in this decision of yours here chief.
