very vague question. What exactly are you wanting to know? Which has more potential as an SPL woofer or SQ? IMO I'd go with the 9500 because it will get loud and sound great. Friend of mine has two of the 12s powered correctly with a mtx in i believe recommended boxs in his colorado and they cracked his windshield.

99.9% chance his windshield was already damaged, and the subs just added to it. People just don not understand just how much it takes to break a windshied. 9.9 times out of 10 the window already had damage to it. Their are people running multiple 18s, and still cant crack it.

haha I knew someone was going to say that and yes I do know how much it takes to bust a windshield. I've been in a blazer with 6 15s hittin 172db and didnt bust the windshield.

Now in this case THE WINDSHIELD WAS NOT DAMAGED TO BEGIN WITH and I'm not saying it shatter it just produced a crack in it. This could've been done with just an weird flex of the vehicle.

its going in the back of a bmw 2000 528i. and either way i go it will be correctly powered by the matching amplifiers.

i know the 9500 would be louder but would the mojo be pretty close sq wise?

in colorado eh, maybe the cold played a factor in cracking the windshield. Nevertheless its hard to believe it was due to sound pressure The 9500 is still a great woofer though

I never said it was due to sound pressure. I said I didnt know why it did it, that it could've simply been a weird flex that twisted the windshield because the truck has no deadening. I doubt it was the cold considering it was in the spring and I live in the south...
