since it seems like everyone has a mag. what are you guys powering them with? i have a 12" and it's going to be in a ported box of some kind. i am looking for 1000ish watts at 1 ohm.

i think that my 20.1 is a bit of overkill on just one mag. i want to replace it with something smaller. i am thinking of a nine.1 or the sundown 1500.1 ATM. any other suggestions?

budget - i would like to be able to sell my 20.1 and not have to pay extra. so anywhere in the 500-550ish range. but i won't complain about saving any money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

and those kickers are at 2 ohms, and i need it at one (or four)

I would go with the Sundown personally. If I didn't already have a 20.1, that's what I would be running on my Rl-ps.

I have a memphis 1000d on my mag 12"

When it was in a 1.7 cube box it was getting 600 watts. Now that it is in a 1.2 cube box I am sending it 1100 watts. I honestly feel that any more power then that is worthless. I can easily reach its mechanical limit in the 1.7 with 600 watts and I can reach it with the 1100 in the 1.2 box.

More then 1200 watts on this sub isnt worth it. Actually the 900rms that it is rated at is perfect for almost any install you could put it in.

And that thing sounded nice for being in a 1.7cube prefab w/ only 600w haha.

Turned out very nice IMO...

I thought about that, but I didnt have anything to tie it down and Joseph didnt want it to take the chance of it sliding and breaking.
