Hey guys, I have 2 12" kicker cvr's and Im currently running 250w a peice or so to them, I kno the rms is around 400, but ive seen some people say certain subs can handle more. I kno these are very cheap budget subs, but i was wonderin if i could run a hifonics bx1500d (900w @ 2 ohms) to them without damaging them? I've had trouble b4 with managing power, so yea i need some help //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

yes you could run that amp to them, just be carefull with the volume //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

**** im abusive sometimes what volume would u recommend? i can get my full 500w at 18 on mu alpine now
that amp will put out about 300-400rms a piece to each woofer at 2ohms if you are wiring your subs together to make 2ohms.

sweetness, now i dont have to get a new sub *whew* my dad woulda killed me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

thanks for tha help

you could alaways do the gain setting tutorial in the amp section, i dont like using it but, if you get happy on the volume knob you can try it before you start clipping the amp and blow something
