not really it fits perfect in my truck, as for the carpet its in the autopart section, its where the mats are, the black carpet close to black mats, brown with brown, n grey with grey.... weird how i find it at wal-mart but not lowes or HD lol

Thanks for all the info anyone. I'd like to hear from anyone who has a CVX. They're pretty new so there are very few reviews online. Other than SoundDomain, where can I read reviews on them? I wish they were on Crutchfield.

I have 3 15L7's and 3 15CVX.

Both are great drivers. CVX has better transient response and has less distortion.

L7 hits harder and has lil more SPL, but CVX goes lower and sounds cleaner.

CVX hits the low notes very nice. However, I don't like how it sounds above 60hz. of course everything is install dependent. My box is 4.7Cu.Ft each tuned to 29hz.

yeah thanks. i want to see pictures of those subs! they are so sharp. i can't wait for mine to get here.

now i'm trying to decide whether or not it's safe to run a 750.1 (930W) on a 12" CVX.. or stick with my 600.1

If you are on budget, get the 750.1 otherwise 600.1 will do the job just fine.

You won't notice BIG improvements in output going from 600.1 to 750.1

Yes, 12CVX will take the 750.1 all day long.

well i bought a 750.1 (see new thread). is it neccessary for me to keep the amp turned down quite a bit? i dunno i just hate to blow a brand new sub. plus i need to ease it through the break-in period.

Just set the gains with a dmm, and you will be fine. No need for any break in of any sort. The woofer breaks in as you play it.
