LOL at the comment 148 isnt very loud? On a term mic if your hitting 148 its pretty **** loud in my opinion. I have been doing SPL comps for about 6 years now and its rare in a legit local comp to have more than a couple cars break 150. If its a spiked mic, which I see all the time at smaller shows, then you might see a ton of people in the 140's and a lot more than normal in the 150's. I saw it with my system. I know what it hit on a term mic and then I go to another comp and am hitting 157 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif Come on, ya right. That was about a 8 db jump over what the system could actually do.

148 is loud. past 140 loud is more tactile than hearing.

well, at 145 it really started messing with my hearing so I guess it is loud, but my idea of loud is more like the kicker van i heard once, back around 1999. I heard that bastard from inside a mall a half mile away...

Ok, yet you hit 146 with two CVRs... and my 148 doesnt count? It was with 1200 watts per side, look at what you're running and how close you are... I don't get some people, so YOU can do 146, but I can't do 148....

Did you not just see the video where the guy puts 2000 watts on ONE cvr12 and hit 147 or whatever? Yet I put 2400 on TWO, hit 148, and you can't believe it even though you're hitting 146 with two?

I think ***some people*** have been on the net too long, and have prejudged every possible system setup and db number according to "what the forum says", that's what I am thinking. In the end none of it matters and 148 isn't even loud, so why don't all of you hatertastic masterhatin masterbaters go beat off somewhere else?

So clear it up for us. Did you hit that on the dash, or with the dor open in the kick?
