lol, I remember what I tried with my first set of CVR's, a sealed box with an 800 watt amp. I don't think it even broke 140.... CVR's really don't like sealed.

Ok, yet you hit 146 with two CVRs... and my 148 doesnt count? It was with 1200 watts per side, look at what you're running and how close you are... I don't get some people, so YOU can do 146, but I can't do 148....

Did you not just see the video where the guy puts 2000 watts on ONE cvr12 and hit 147 or whatever? Yet I put 2400 on TWO, hit 148, and you can't believe it even though you're hitting 146 with two?

I think ***some people*** have been on the net too long, and have prejudged every possible system setup and db number according to "what the forum says", that's what I am thinking. In the end none of it matters and 148 isn't even loud, so why don't all of you hatertastic masterhatin masterbaters go beat off somewhere else?

so let me see if i got this.... you threw 1200w to a kicker sub (each) that is rated to run how many watts? 500? you said you used 15's?

I do not see the subs lasting very long before they lock or worse:eyebrow:

you did not use the 30hz that you said you did it at? that you did at 43?

i can't go from experience with the brand, but will say that it's sounds a lil far fetched...not saying impossible though..

i would expect going much over the rated rms on those would not exactly be the best of ideas...but like i said i nvr played w any kicker products very much:crap:

claiming a 147 does have the possibility to be BS, but it's far from impossible.

ok i am done here, the guy asked what cvrs could do, i told him. as for the people who can't read and got the facts all wrong, i will say one more time what i did:

two cvr 12's in a ported box tuned to 30hz, one PRS-X720 per side. playing tones at 43 hz I hit 147.9 at the dash. One woofer lasted 3 months in this setup, the other lasted 5, and I did bang them pretty hard. I have more than enough proof incidental and otherwise to show for it. Some people hit a number and have to have a piece of paper to carry around, i am not one.
