i once did a chick in the back seat of her dads car. she hit 151 in the mouth at peak. loudest thing i have ever heard in a car. You're not going to like this at all then, I did it at 30hz, on an AC, at the dash.
mine are in a 4 door trunk car so im pretty sure no 145 for me. but congrats on the on the score. im sure some one could hit a 150 with two 15s cvrs with a lot of power and the correct install. there not really that bad of woofers.I beg to differ. Im layin down 145.9 and 146.0 with two ported 15s with 550rms each.
Thanks. I think I can do better. I think you could do it if you had the right installmine are in a 4 door trunk car so im pretty sure no 145 for me. but congrats on the on the score. im sure some one could hit a 150 with two 15s cvrs with a lot of power and the correct install. there not really that bad of woofers.
just stop before you embarrass your self any moreThe box was key to me. I could get that loud by being tuned low and pumping a few kilowatts through the subs. People tend to forget that db is simply a matter of driving air and with the right setup you can maximize any woofer.
You know nothing for a fact. I can tell you though that you have to power them way past the stinky point. When I was done with them the surrounds were flappy and the VC stank, here's a pic of one I keep around for some odd reason now, this one gave out when the VC seized after 3 months, the other died 2 months later...after reading that above i know for a fact that ur not loud. a 145+ at 30hz is just plain stupid loud. and if for some reason you did the mic is retardly old and would not break a 40 on a tl. im not hating cause i could care less, just stating the obvious //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
i have heard them though, i owned 2 12's in 2.5 cube boxes tuned to 32hz. i didnt play much with them cause they just didnt get loud for the set up i had. they did do a 142 even on the TL and got quite stinky
