12" JL W6 Ported or Sealed (Read before commenting)

What size enclosure would you recommend. The JL site says 1.25 cubic feet. I have a sealed enclosure that is about 1.15 cubic feet. Would that work alright?

shure, just stuff some poly-fill in it. about 1/2 full or so, it will help out with the low end you may loose from going with a smaller box.

So i put the sub in the 1.25 cubic feet box, which after sub displacement, leaves about 1.15 cubic feet. The loss of low end is not too noticable, since i am gaining a little on the high end. My question is, will the bass be more accurate/tighter if I was to build a slightly larger box or pack some polyfill in the box I got?

12" JL W6 reccomended box: 1.25 cubic Feet

My Box after displacement: 1.15 cuic feet
