im getting one for christmas and was wondering if itll work good with this enclosure i found:

the depth seems enough but does it need more space besides that? and is it worth it for chosing all the options on the subwoofer from fi? im not really sure which ohm to pick also... sorry i dont know much about it, thanks

For the love of god, do not purchase a BTL. You are not ready and will destroy it.

Please don't purchase the BTL and put it in that enclosure. It WILL sound terrible.

I would look away from getting a BTL as it sounds like your first system. That sub will require a LOT of work and learning on your part to be useful as you can't just throw it in any box and on any amp and make it sound good. That sub requires a lot of power and a lot of power requires a beefy electrical system. It seems like this is way out of your league if you don't even know what impedance you need.

I recommend making your own box with a double-baffle, bracing, and a large port

What ohm load you run is going to depend on what amp and sub combo you choose. Not which one is better. Also sealed vs. ported is going to be personal preference.

Now you want a w7 instead of a BTL? Just buy whats in the second link and be done with it.

i was asking if it would work well in the 2nd link one because my friend has a w7 and enclosure for sale but idk if i should get the enclosure? well does anyone know of an enclosure that will work well with it besides building one?

Do not put a BTL in a prefab sealed enclosure. I posted you a link to FI's box specs follow them or look into a sub that is more on par with your skill level.

look into the SSD's as apposed to the BTL for a beginner setup. The BTL is going to require tons of power and electrical upgrades that you don't seem ready to do yet. What kind of budget do you have and maybe we can point you in the right direction. What kind of car as well?

well its gonna be in an 04 grand marquis, and isnt the eletrical just the thicker wires, maybe a capacitor? or maybe i should just go for my friends w7...

Lol, the electrical upgrades consist of extra batteries, high output alternators, "thicker wires" etc. but most importantly, KNOWLEDGE. You probably should just get your friends dub7 and call it a day.
