12" alpine type r's vs 12" rockford fosgate punch stage 3

I'd try out the Subtilis VVX. The 12" is like $130 and they'll even build an enclosure to your specs for like $40 more. Tough to beat a deal like that...

ive seen some people put the type r's on 1200rms and taken it easy. the p3's aint all that great either. it would be close but i would go w alpine

2010/2011 Rockford P3's, hands down.

They claim 600wrms, but that is very conservative. We have one at work hooked up to a RF T1500bd and it keeps it's cool even under load, don't even smell voice coil. We sell them for $308 in a Rockford slot port enclosure, very well worth it. Metal cone = solid bass

Rockford fosgate. I have 2 p3s and ive compared them to several alpine type r's (friends are alpine fans). Powering my rf's at 500-600 rms a piece they blow the type r's out of the water spl wise every time. sq for the rf is average and alpine has the advantage, but if you want spl go rf. i paid 240 for the pair, and a year later they sound as good as they day i bought them
