only appearance is different. I can vouch for the warentee too. I had the MK1 but I liked the MKII cone better when that came out so i plugged mine into the wall and now I have a MKII. I've only got mine on 700 watts 2.0@32 kerffed bpx500.1 basically just for SQ but will knock your socks off if I turn it up. Can't light my cigs anyhow.
