im looking to upgrade my memphis subs to something a little louder. i like sq but to be honest i just wanna hear something loud. ive been considering kicker and sundown. id like to have 2 12's but a 15 or 2 is perfectly fine. im running on roughly a $500 budget. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated since im still pretty new to the scene.

Well, the Kickers offer quite a bit more cone area, however, the Cadence will definately do rated while the SSL will not do anything near rated. Id say the output would be similar, but with the SA/Cadence setup sounding vastly better

u can get an AQ street duty 15" for cheaper than u can get a sa-12.

i would think the 2 aq 15s would be louder than the 2 sa-12s as long as u can fit them

this is what i'm getting next week. just have to build basically a wall to fit them for my fronty. 10 cube or so.

Buy one Sundown SA-12. Have a respectable shop build a proper ported & tuned box. Get on eBay & buy an old school PPI Art 600.2, to power it. Use the money you saved from going with a single setup over a dual & buy a nice sub x-over for the 600.2 & plenty of sound deadner. Game over.

You can run the SVC subs on the GM-DX871 at 1 Ohm, just lower the gain at the amp. The third sub is too different to run on the same amp as the...
