10w7 ported box..suggestions?

anyone got input..just got a 10w7..looking to go ported..its going to have about 700 watts on it..just trying to see if anyone has found any better results that the JL suggestions on their site.

cmon no one here has any experience with this sub? o well might just build a few boxes to find one i like..will definetly keep a log because they are going to be my first ported box builds..

I used to have 2 10W7 in a 3cuft ported enclosure with 40sqin of port tuned to 34Hz. I was powering them with a VR2000D and it was really loud.

was that 3cuft together so 1.5 each or each got 3..im assuming its 1.5 each..but yea i got the sub today so im jus goin to do a JL suggested until i can find someone to sell a High Output enclosure for cheap

1.5 cu ft each. One of my friends has 2 hand he hit 144 db with them. They are really sound q woofers though.

really only a 144 with 2?? my friend had 2 in ported box with a 1000/1 and hit 148.xx

anywho im starting the build project today..just going to go with a basic ported to JL specs and then buy a JL high output box once i find one for cheap..
