10w7 or 12w6?????????????

i dont know what to do if i had enough money ide try them both to see wich one i like better but thats not an option so thats why im asking you guys again.? either way they will be in aported box . i have a 500/1 amp and i just want clean loud bass. or do i stick with my 8w7 and through it in a ported box. because there wont be that much of a difference? sorry to keep jumping back and forth i just want to get this right the first time. so im open to sudgestions.

MY buddy has a 12w6v2 in his xterra on a 500/1. He hit a 142.8 on a AC mic. Sounds real nice.
