Ok heres the deal i have a 2001 sierra ext cab and im looking to get some subwoofers. I have been considering getting 2 12's but im unsure if they will fit. I have roughly .8 - 1.1 cuF to work with per sub. I am going to fiberglass the bottom of the box that i make. Soundsplinter recommends about 1 cuF per 12 in a sealed box for best performance as well as Image Dynamics IDQ's (which are bout half the price. Im wondering if i should just stick to 10's. I need some suggestions heres a pic of what im looking to build, do they look like 10's or 12's?

I would say go with what you want, 10's or 12's will fit. The 10's are easier (most of the time) to fit under there, just watch you mounting depth. Why not think out of the box a little a go with 4 8's? Your depth would'nt be a problom and the airspace would be ideal. Heres something for ya, quad 10's....

Just think what 4 10'' IDQ's would sound like:naughty:. I'm getting ready to drop a 10 inch AA Assassin below my back seat of my chev this weekend, I'll let you know how she sounds. Hunter121
