1000+rms 8" subwoofer :) (burp only)

burping = higher frequency, USUALLY.daily = playing all frequencies, including low ones, which would bottom the sub out due to overpower..
Actually, when I think of daily versus burping, I just think of duration. A burp is a short burst in which a sub can usually take more power. Daily driving is a safer power level that won't burn up the sub.

I used to run 700-800 RMS on my W7 with no problem at all. It would not surprise me if the W7 could handle the 1k for burp or even for daily use, just as long as your are easy on the gain....

Jon
Um, what do you mean by watch the gains. 1000 watts is 1000 watts.

Yo my 8" will handle my 1000 watt amp if i don't turn it up.

yes this is for a port wars setup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You def. dont need 1000watts.....i had a Sundown 1500@2ohm for my 8" CVR port box

Got any pics of your box?...see if your on the right track

i have not done a box for an 8" yet.. looking to get one first.. made one for my RE XXX 15" for fun.. did 176.7dB @ 49hz for port wars

there was an 8" there on like 700-800rms that did a 180.X? not sure the final score
