so i might just pick up a

stetsom 7kd 12 volt version, or a sundown 3000 , or a lanzar 6000,

If anything, go for the Lanzar if you really can't wait. I would, though.

The GP3000D-Pro will do 3500 or more on 12.5 electrical. On 14.4v probably more than 4k. Best you can do for $450 BNIB.
