100 x 2 to Alpine Spr-17s=Good ?

Hey i know i asked a question last week about the spx-177r and wattage now i am going in a different direction (thanks to suggestions that they were a little inefficiant and probaly tha they would not fit in my doors to well) and looking at the new type-r 6.5 comps and wanted to know if the 100 x 2 that the alpine MRP-250 bridged put out is enough for the spr -17s that are 110rms.

Yep. That should do just fine. Remember you can bi amp them also. You wire 2 channels of the amp to the mids and 2 channels to the tweets. You gain the ability to adjust the gains on the amp for the mids and tweet seperately.

Again so 40 watts is enough to each woofer and the tweeters when biamping the seperates with the mrp f250?

are you set on bi-amping them? I would just run that amplifier bridged so you get 100 x2 on it to the crossover, much easier and you will have less to risk before going active. . .

Allright what am i risking by biamping this set?

Is it:

1. that the tweeter shouldnt be taking 40watts rms?

2. i am here asking questions so i dont know what the hell i am doing in the first place?

3. The woofer is getting to much at 40watts or not enought at 40watts and it will damage?

4. I have no idea what i am talking about?

i am in class so i cant go too in depth but if you dont use the crossover and just bi-amp then your way more highly likely to break them by incorrect tuning.
