100% SQ 8's, Porsche install

I'm sticking to 8's because the cabin in a 944 is very small, and 2 10's is overkill, imo. Plus the height of the rear seats should match nicely with the top of the box. (Still not sure if I'm gonna do a fiberglass or MDF box.

size of woofer has absolutly NO BEARING on sq AT ALL.
you my friend, are an rtard.
bah i dont really wanna argu with you. First of all SQ is subjective..... Personnaly, I like the sound of bigger sub versus smaller, i feel they tend to have fuller sound and produce any frenquecies with more ease instead of smaller sub, and its generally louder in the whole spectrum of sub-frequency, which I think is important in SQ, quietness is something that should not be in the "SQ" department, I like to really FEEL the music when I listen to it, sub-bass, mid-bass, vocals, mid-range, loud, clear, crisp, thump--- thats true SQ for me ... idk if u understand what I mean, but thats all IMO

and no im not a tard

see, the best part about SQ, is that it is not as subjective as you think.

SQ does not mean SQ IMO. your oppinion of a good sounding stereo is not sound quality. its your oppinion. and just because you think that a larger diamater speaker can play more of the frequency spectrum and get louder means nothing because that is a stereotype and simply false. it has been proven false hundreds of times.

loud is also something that has absolutly nothing to do with sound quality. just because a stereo gets loud while doing all this jazz "sub-bass, mid-bass, vocals, mid-range, clear, crisp, thump" means nothong.

because i dont see stereo image, or sound stage - the two most important things in sq. go read a iasca sq rule book then get back to me. there are a lot more things in real sq that you are completly missing.

and fyi, the loudest a sq car needs to be on the TL is a 140 for a burp. otherwise i doubt they are any louder than a 130 durring auditions.

You're right, it's SQ in the judges opinion, which is still subjective //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif And a rule book can't tell someone what sounds good to them, so YES it's very subjective in the real world, but more defined for comps is all... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
