Well I thought it was assumed that if you're paying less than $100 for an amp anyways, you're not even close to being an audiophile. Serious question, (assuming you are on the side of the debate that says amps effect sound quality) are there any amps that sound really good for under $100 anyways?

Well, in all honesty you might have to stretch your budged by $50 or so.....maybe.

An amp that reproduces the signal faithfully, accurately and without distortion is going to sound clean and "good." Some do it better than others.

Used old scool Orion is close to audiophile.Blows the new stuff away by a LONG shot.I took a RF Punch 801s(800 watts) and replaced it with a 225 HCCA (50 watt)and it was night and day difference on volume and bass(3 10w6 JL's)
