these will be powering 2 SX's at either .5 ohm on the opti or 2 ohms on the PA.

i voted PA because i love my amps, but at 2 ohms your only going to get 1800 accroding to the specs and probably less than that, i have .7 on each of mine atm and they run fine, so actually i would go opti prolly

Same thing really. Look at the board. Same components used. Probably equal in output if not close. What ever fits your budget and looks better.
