jus wondering what some of you think of these remix's.

imo i dont like pretty much all of this cd tho the world is yours remix is ight.

im lovin the beat in this but for the gautar in the backround but the piano used is real phat.

melody is pretty tight, very inspirational imo.

on the real also has a real phat beat and is a pretty good song overall.

star wars has some tight lyrics here and there but the beat itself is not very good.

all the otehr remix's have changed the songs to much imo, they dont sound right seeing as how the originals were **** tight.

lemme know what you otehrs think.

its a 10 year anniversary of illmatic with a second disc with 4 remix's and 2 new songs.

Anytime a CD is released again, it's obviously a reissue....it can either be reissued due to not enough copies being printed originally, or like in this case, it can be reissued as an anniversary type deal, with the original recordings being remastered.

There was absolutely no need to remix any of the original songs; not only are the new beats lackluster, it completely ruins the feel of Illmatic...I need to hear those horns on 'Life's A Bit*h', the pseudo-casio beat is a disgrace. yea i know thats what i was sayng, the songs were already **** good to start and the only remix i like at all is who's world is this.

it still has a kinda illmatic feel to it tho i dont aprove of the beat on star wars, on the real is a **** good song.
