10'' w6v2 & 500/1 popping sound

Well, im running 1 10''- w6v2 and 500/1 combined. I haven't changed the jumper wires on the sub. I have left them from the factory. I have to turn my input (gain) barely all the way down so that i do not have that popping sound, i still have bass, but my concern is that I am missing all this bass that I could have, but i am forced to turn it down due to the fact of the popping sound. i am ina custom sealed box built to spec. What should I do?

Whats the input set on on the amp....The imput voltage switch? and what hu u running?

i dont have an exact volt number, cuz I dont have a meter, but im running off the stock HU. I want the most amount of bass without that stipid popping noise when I turn it up.

do you have the amp connected on a RCA adapter? I have my 10w6v2 hooked up to my stock deck with that.

You sure the popping sound is from the sub or your rear speakers?

other than that, it might be air leaks in the box or LPF filter on the amp is too high.

most likely its the box.

turn bass boost off

turn ur q down to .7 ... u should never have ur bass boost that high, the first pic means nada cuz its for preout amps... line out converters are junk, but since thats what u have check the gain/ knob on the loc... ufyi ur always gonna get a pop from those useless things...

drop 200 bux on a 5v preout eclipse hu, end of ur problems right there..

o and for the sake of ur sub.... turn on ur infrasonic filter, then set it to around 28-30
