10 w6 or 2 dd 1508s

Right now I have 2 1508s and I love them. The only thing is that I would like more sq. Would it be a huge step down from the 1508s to the w6 10? I still want to have around the same output. The amp is a kicker zx500.1 (rated at 604).

Keep the DDs. You won't realize what you you'll be missing.

Yea, your gonna have to step up to at least the 12 w6 to acheive your desired level of output. 600 watts rms at 2 ohms will be perfect for the 12 w6. You'll notice a lot better sound quality in my opinion but you still probably won't get the output of the dd's.

Keep the 1508s and get a bigger amp that puts out at least (minimum) of 1000w.

Seriously those DDs (giving the right enclosure) can take 750w or even 1000w a piece if you really know what your doing.

bro, keep the dd's, they will do 1k each if your smart with them. they have very good sq in a 1cuft box each. i had 1 1508 in an ext cab s-10 on 1k and it was insane for an 8". now i have a 2510 on the same 1k in the truck and its insane x2
