$10 tweeters??

im gonna get some coaxials to replace my factory component set so that will leave the stock tweeter in there and i was wondering if they would be iigth just for something really cheap to replace the factory tweeters, r they very harsh?

well i have $5 dollar tweeters and they work allright but not as good as other tweeters but they get loud

Depending on the brand, they might not be too bad. Audax, Dayton Audio, etc all have some very cheap but fairly decent tweets. But I'd stay away from anything Walmart/Pawn Shop related

there is a guy selling some aura tweets for cheap in the classifieds, they sound awesome, I changed my silk cdt tweets out for these and IMO they sound better.

Please don't buy cheap tweeters. My friends do and it literally hurts my ears when I listen to songs with highs.

They dont seem to be harsh to my ears, They just sounded alittle louder than the cdts w\ the same power xovers etc, probably due to them being !" vs 3\4". Im pretty impressed with them, I am giving the cdts to my g\f (she wouldnt know the differnce between quality and crap) Plus the aura come with a neat thing that acts like a grill for the speaker (sorta) and you can use that to mount the tweet to.
